In the final step of creating an E-mail campaign, which is its Summary, you have the option to activate the Campaign Booster feature. It allows you to automatically reach recipients who did not open or click your main campaign, thereby increasing its effectiveness.
To use the Booster feature, find the "Campaign Booster" section in the campaign summary and toggle the switch to enable it. This feature is disabled by default.
Once enabled, for an E-mail campaign, you can choose one of two types of Booster:
Email: Resends the email campaign.
SMS: Sends an SMS message to the recipients of the email campaign.
If you choose an E-mail campaign as a Booster:
Goal: To automatically resend an email message to recipients who did not open or click your original Email campaign.
Message Content: The content of the Email Booster is always the same as the content of the main campaign. It cannot be modified at this stage.
Message Subject:
You can (and we recommend you do) enter a new, engaging subject for the Booster message. The subject is not automatically copied from the main campaign, so set it yourself or use our AI generator.
Personalization of the subject is available (e.g., using a name).
Booster Sending Condition:
Sending Time: Specify how long after the main campaign dispatch has finished the Booster should be sent. You can choose a period from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 7 days.
Recipient Selection Criteria: Choose who the Email Booster should target:
not opened: The message will be sent to people who did not open the main campaign.
not clicked: The message will be sent to people who opened the main campaign but did not click on any of the links within it.
Limitations: The Email Booster feature is not available for A/B campaigns. If your main campaign is an A/B test, the Booster option will be grayed out with an appropriate message.
Throughput: The throughput for the Email Booster campaign is always set to the default value and cannot be modified at this stage.
If you choose an SMS campaign as a Booster:
Goal: To automatically send an SMS message to recipients who did not open or click your original Email campaign.
SMS Header (Sender ID):
Select the header (sender) to be used for your SMS Booster campaign from the list of available headers.
SMS Message Content:
Enter the content of the SMS message you want to send in the dedicated field.
Content personalization and the option to add emojis are available.
Tracked Link:
You have the option to insert a tracked link into the SMS content, which will allow for click monitoring.
Booster Sending Condition:
Sending Time: Specify how long after the main campaign dispatch has finished the Booster should be sent. You can choose a period from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 7 days.
Recipient Selection Criteria: Choose who the SMS Booster should target:
not opened: The SMS message will be sent to people who did not open the main Email campaign.
not clicked: The SMS message will be sent to people who opened the main Email campaign but did not click on any of the links within it.
Throughput: The throughput for the SMS Booster campaign is always set to the default value.
Unavailable Options: For an SMS Booster created within an Email campaign, it is not possible to set an individual campaign description or debug SMS content.
Before activating the Booster, the system verifies certain conditions:
No phone numbers for SMS Booster: If you select SMS as the Booster type, and no contact in the selected recipient group of the main campaign has an assigned phone number, the option to choose SMS Booster will be blocked (grayed out). The system will display the following message. In such a situation, only the Email Booster will remain selectable.
Recipient group contains 0 contacts: If the recipient group selected for the main campaign contains no contacts, the Booster function (both E-mail and SMS) will be blocked. The following annotation will be displayed:
The system automatically filters recipients for the Booster campaign based on their message statuses in the main campaign:
If you choose E-mail Booster for an E-mail campaign:
It will not be sent to contacts with a Hard Bounce status (permanent error, e.g., non-existent address) or Spam Bounce status (message marked as spam) in the main campaign.
It will be sent (if they meet the no-open/no-click condition) to contacts with an OK status (received by the server) or Soft Bounce status (temporary error, e.g., full inbox).
If you choose SMS Booster for an E-mail campaign:
It will be sent (if they meet the no-open/no-click condition and have a valid phone number) to contacts with any status (OK, Soft Bounce, Hard Bounce, Spam Bounce).
Special Characters: If you use special characters in the SMS content (e.g., diacritical marks), the system will ask if you want to send the message with them. Remember that using special characters reduces the character limit of a single SMS (from 160 to 70 characters) and may affect the cost of sending. This behavior is analogous to the standard SMS campaign creator. More information .
