In the final step of creating a PUSH campaign, i.e., in its Summary, you have the option to activate the SMS Booster feature. For PUSH campaigns, the Booster allows you to send an additional SMS campaign to recipients who did not open or click your original PUSH notification.
To use the Booster feature, find the SMS Booster section in the campaign summary and toggle the switch to enable it. This feature is disabled by default.
For PUSH campaigns, only an SMS type campaign is available as a Booster.
Goal: To automatically send an SMS message to recipients who did not open or click the PUSH notification from the main campaign.
SMS Message Content:
Enter the content of the SMS message in the dedicated field.
Content personalization and the option to add emojis are available.
Special Characters: If you use special characters in the SMS content, the system will ask if you want to send the message with them.
SMS Header (Sender ID):
Select the header (sender) to be used for your Booster SMS campaign from the list of available headers.
Tracked Link:
You have the option to insert a tracked link into the SMS content.
Booster Sending Condition:
Sending Time: Specify how long after the main PUSH campaign dispatch has finished the Booster should be sent. You can choose a period from a minimum of 2 hours to a maximum of 7 days.
Recipient Selection Criteria: The Booster SMS will be sent to individuals who did not open or click the PUSH notification from the main campaign.
Limitations and Unavailable Options:
For the Booster SMS (in the context of a PUSH campaign), it is not possible to individually set the throughput (it is always default), add a campaign description, or debug content.
Throughput: The throughput for the SMS Booster campaign is always set to the default value.
No phone numbers: Since the Booster for a PUSH campaign is always an SMS campaign, the system will verify at the moment of attempting to enable the feature whether there are contacts with assigned phone numbers in the selected recipient group. If no contact has an assigned phone number, the option to enable the SMS Booster will be grayed out (inactive), and relevant information will appear:
Recipient group contains 0 contacts: If the recipient group selected for the main campaign contains no contacts, the Booster function will be blocked.
The system automatically filters recipients for the Booster campaign based on their notification statuses in the main PUSH campaign:
The Booster SMS will never be sent to contacts who received the WAITING status (awaiting delivery) in the main PUSH campaign.
The Booster SMS will be sent (if they meet the condition of not opening/not clicking the PUSH notification and have an assigned, valid phone number) also to contacts for whom the main PUSH campaign ended with an ERROR status (PUSH notification delivery error), provided they did not have a WAITING status. The aim is to attempt to reach these users through an alternative channel.
