SOTE is a professional e-commerce platform that offers tools to easily manage an online store. It allows integration with payment and delivery systems, provides advanced reporting, and offers technical support. Through integration with EmailLabs, emails can be sent using an external SMTP server, enhancing security and email deliverability. Below is a step-by-step guide for integrating our SMTP with the SOTE system.
The data needed for integration via SMTP can be found in the EmailLabs panel in the section: Email API -> Settings -> SMTP Accounts.
Fill in the form fields with the following data:
Name: Enter any descriptive name, for example, "EmailLabs".
SMTP server address: smtp.emaillabs.net.pl
Use encrypted connection: Select TLS.
Port: Enter 587.
Click the Save and add button.
Return to the Mail servers tab. The newly added βEmailLabs" server should now appear in the list.
Go to the Mail -> Email accounts tab.
Click Add and enter the following information:
Mail server: Select the EmailLabs server that you configured in the previous step.
Account address: Enter the email address you will be sending messages from. Important: This email address must be authorized for sending in your EmailLabs panel.
Name: Enter the desired sender name (e.g., your company name).
SMTP server address: smtp.emaillabs.net.pl
Username: Provide your EmailLabs SMTP account name in the format: 1.youraccountname.smtp
.
Password: Enter the SMTP password you set in your EmailLabs panel.
Specify whether this email address should be the default sending address or used for sending newsletters by checking the appropriate options.
Click Save and add.
After saving the email account details, a window with the message New device detected may appear.
You will need to enter a six-digit verification code that will be automatically sent to the email address of the SOTE account administrator.
At this stage, the email containing the verification code should be sent from the EmailLabs servers using the email account you just configured.
The appearance of this verification email in your EmailLabs panel confirms that the mail configuration is correct.
Enter the confirmation code in the SOTE panel. Once the code is entered, the integration process will be complete, and the configured email address will appear in the Email accounts list in your SOTE backend panel.
By following these steps, you will successfully configure the EmailLabs SMTP server in your SOTE system, enabling secure and efficient email delivery for your online store.
