Integration of PrestaShop with SMTP EmailLabs

PrestaShop is a popular, open-source e-commerce platform that enables the creation and management of online stores. Thanks to its flexibility and extensive functions, PrestaShop has become a popular choice for entrepreneurs planning to sell online.

Connecting the PrestaShop platform to EmailLabs enables effective email sending, increasing the effectiveness of their delivery. Below are the steps necessary to carry out this integration.

Finding SMTP data in EmailLabs

The data needed for integration via SMTP can be found in the EmailLabs panel in the section: Email API -> Settings -> SMTP Accounts.

SMTP Configuration in PrestaShop

1

Logging into the administration panel

Log in to the PrestaShop administration panel. Select Advanced Parameters in the left-hand menu, then click on the E-mail section.

2

Entering SMTP data

Check the Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced users ONLY) option and enter the following data according to EmailLabs data:

  • Email domain name: email address domain from which messages will be sent.

  • SMTP server: smtp.emaillabs.net.pl

  • SMTP username: enter your SMTP account name in this particular format: 1.youraccountname.smtp.

  • SMTP password: SMTP password set in the EmailLabs panel.

  • Encryption: Select TLS or SSL, depending on your preference.

  • Port: Select 587 for TLS or 465 for SSL.

After entering the SMTP data, click the Save button to save the configuration.

3

Testing the configuration

For testing purposes, make a test order in the store to make sure that the integration works correctly. If emails are not delivered, check the correctness of the entered data and error reports in the PrestaShop panel.

After correct configuration, PrestaShop will use the EmailLabs infrastructure to send emails, which will increase their effectiveness and deliverability.
