Tags

The ‘Tags’ feature allows for the automatic labeling of messages based on specific criteria, such as the sender or the subject of the message.

  • Rule for the From Field: A tag will be assigned to messages based on the sender’s email address. To create this rule, enter the specific email address that should trigger the tag.

  • Rule for the Subject Field: Tags are assigned based on a phrase in the message subject. If you add an asterisk (*) at the end of the phrase, all messages containing that phrase, regardless of additional content, will be tagged. If the asterisk is not included, the tag will only be applied to messages with a subject that matches the phrase exactly.

Note! The asterisk (*) can only be used for the message subject.

In standard practice, tags can be assigned to a mailing up to two days after its completion. However, we recommend adding tags before the campaign launches. This aligns with the intended functionality of the feature and ensures accurate tagging and proper display in the list view.

Tags appear in the list once a rule is added, and the system detects a mailing that meets the criteria. It’s important to note that this process is not instantaneous, so tags may take time to appear on messages—ranging from 30 minutes to as long as 2 days.
